Getting back to Korea has been a bit hectic. Right off the bat, I jumped on board to begin rehearsals for “A Streetcar Named Desire”. Playing the role of Stella Kowalksi, I’m having a hard time with my Mississippi accent. Along with some of the other actors, I’ve had to meet with a voice coach to help me out.
For those unfamiliar with the play: It was written by the famous Tennessee Williams. The story is about the high-strung Blanche DuBois and how she is pushed over the edge of madness by her callous brother-in-law, Stanley Kowalski when she comes to visit her sister Stella in New Orleans.
