I’m telling you, once you start shopping online, it becomes addictive. After getting through the initial setup at 11st Shopping, shopping became simply too easy. With purchases of 300,000 won or more it does get a bit more difficult. Your bank needs to send more info just to make sure they are protecting you against any fraud. That was a bit of a hassle, but thankfully both my bank and 11st Street have an English hotline that can help out. I was literally going back and forth between them when I walked over to the nearest bank. The tellers were patient and kind, as were both parties on the phone.
With anything under that price though, it is simply transferring the exact amount. That same night, your product can be sent out and you can receive it by the end of the week. It’s just brilliant!
Selca Pod & Smartphone Grip
To give in to the Korean in me, I had to get this product. I am usually hanging out with friends and of course we have to do these selfies! This just makes it easier, PLUS it would be an easier way to film some things on my smartphone when no one is around to play cameraman ㅋㅋㅋ.
I was most excited about the gorilla grip, because these things are so cooooool and it was such a deal to get! For about $8, it was way cheaper for some of the ones I’ve seen back in the states. I haven’t tried that one out yet, but here is a pic we took in Gwangju using the Selca Pod. It’s so convenient to use and carry around. Now don’t hate! Haha I know it looks a bit funny, but I’ve seen those Koreans around me stare and walk away wanting one of these! Heehee!
Very cool product! Once you have your smartphone on the selcapod, how does a person take the actual photo? How does a person press the button on the smartphone screen when it’s so far away?
I put the timer on my phone so I click it and have a few seconds to readjust and smile ^^
